¿Que es reciclar?

 

Se conoce como reciclaje al proceso de recuperación y transformación total o parcial de la materia prima o los componentes que fueron utilizados para su elaboración y darles un nuevo propósito al reutilizarlos en forma de nuevos bienes o productos.
 
Reciclar es una manera de colaborar con el medio ambiente. Al reciclar aprovechamos de manera conciente y efectiva los desechos que producimos siendo una alternativa sustentable al consumismo, evitando el uso de energía que se necesita para extraer y el uso de más materia prima para elaborar productos nuevos y así disminuir los niveles de contaminación.

¿Que es la regla de las 3 Rs?:
 
Reducir
Reutilizar

Reciclar
 
Es una regla para reducir la cantidad de basura y/o residuos contaminantes que nos ayuda a cuidar el medio ambiente. En toda empresa se debería implementar y respetar esta regla pues nos ayuda a crear menos basura, nos ahorra dinero y ayuda al medio ambiente. SEAMOS CONSUMIDORES RESPONSABLES. Es muy fácil, pues sólo son tres pasos:
 
·          Reducir
·          Reutilizar
·          Reciclar

Regla Reducir:
 
Hablar de reducir es, que se debe tratar de disminuir o modificar el consumo de los productos individuales, o sea, todo aquello que se compra y se consume directamente por una sola persona, pues aumenta la producción de desperdicios, a la vez que afecta a nuestro bolsillo.
 
Ejemplos:

 
·       Si en lugar de comprar 6 bebidas chicas, compras una o dos grandes; mismo producto, menos basura, menor precio.
·       No pedir bolsas de papel o plástico en los supermercados, lleva las reusables.
·       En la oficina utilizar papel reciclado certificado.
 
Imprimir estrictamente lo necesario, antes de imprimir; verifica ortografía, configurar correctamente la página.
Mas del 30% de las impresiones son desperdicio y esto debido a error de configuración.
Evitar copias innecesarias.
 
Preguntas básicas antes de imprimir:
 
·       ¿Seguro/a que necesitas imprimir/copiar este documento?
·       ¿Has comprobado cuantas copias necesitas?
·       ¿Has revisado y corregido el documento antes de imprimirlo?

 
Regla Reutilizar:
 
Reutilizar, nos referimos a volver a usar las cosas y darles otra utilidad antes de desecharlas y de esta manera se disminuye el volumen de basura. No muchos aprovechamos esta regla, pero es la que nos ayuda en la economía del hogar y las empresas. A diario usamos metriales que se pueden usar de diferente manera.
Reusa el papel copia por la parte trasera cuando ya no se necesita
 
·        Al usar una caja de cartón, busca la manera de reutilizarla para almacenamiento de documentos o próximos envíos.
·        Evita usar grapas en sobres y hojas (Facilita el reúso de las hojas).
·        Usar los dos lados de una hoja y después desechar
 
Reciclar:
 
Es someter los materiales a los procesos para que se pueden volver a utilizar como materia prima (reciclada), disminuyendo drásticamente la explotación de nuevos recursos naturales, y como consecuencia menos dispendio de los mismos y reduciendo la cantidad de basura.
 
Ya que reciclar es la última opción para generar menos basura, se debe considerar el Reducir y Reusar al máximo antes de mandarlos a Reciclar. Una gran cantidad de envases, empaques y contenedores pueden ser reutilizados de diferentes formas.
En el mundo, siempre hemos producido residuos, es ahora que como sociedad consumista se debe tomar cartas en el asunto y ayudemos a no crear demasiada basura. Además de haberse elevado los niveles de toxicidad en suelos, aire y agua provocando una crisis mundial incrementado esta toxicidad hasta convertirse en un gravísimo problema. Acostumbrados a USAR Y TIRAR no nos hemos dado cuenta de que esos materiales que desechamos de manera desmedida, algún día nos harán falta.

 
En la ciudad de La Paz, se calcula que se generan cerca de 4,000 Toneladas de basura al año, aproximadamente 1 Kilogramo por persona al día y más del 50% son envases y empaques de materiales que no pueden ser reciclados ya que son fabricados con materiales que no tienen reciclaje y para usarse solo una vez, de ahí la importancia de consumir productos en envases reusables y reciclables.
Para frenar este descontrolado consumo y derroche indiscriminado de los recursos naturales, es urgente aprendamos a consumir y desechar de manera responsable, aplicando la regla de las 3 Rs, pero más importante EDUCARNOS Y EDUCAR sobre RECICLAJE.
 
 
Es importante señalar que los procesos del reciclaje producen cierta cantidad de contaminación, pero reducen la necesidad de extraen materias primas de las minas, los bosques o el petróleo y se use menos energía.

Bolsas de plástico y su Impacto:

Anualmente son desechadas más de 4 toneladas de bolsas de plástico, desafortunadamente que nadie las quiere reciclar debido a su alto costo, terminando en las calles de las ciudades, barrancas, callejones, mares, ríos y lagunas o quemadas, solo por mencionar los más comunes. Los animales están en primera fila en ser afectados por esta irracional acción. No lo olvides:

What is recycling?

It is a rule to reduce the amount of garbage and / or polluting waste that helps us take care of the environment. In every company this rule should be implemented and respected because it helps us create less garbage, saves us money and it helps the environment. LET US BE RESPONSIBLE CONSUMERS. Reduce rule:

To speak of reducing is, that we must try to reduce or modify the consumption of individual products, that is, everything that is bought and consumed directly by a single person, because it increases the production of waste, at the same time that it affects our pocket.
 
Examples:
 
·        If instead of buying 6 small drinks, you buy one or two big ones: same product, less garbage, lower price.
·        Do not order paper or plastic bags in supermarkets, carry the reusable ones.
·        In the office use certified recycled paper.
 

Print strictly as necessary, before printing; check spelling, set up the page correctly.
More than 30% of the prints are waste and this due to configuration error.

Reuse rule:
 
Reuse, we mean to reuse things and give them another use before we dispose them and in this way the volume of garbage is reduced. Not many of us take advantage of this rule, but it is the one that helps us in the home economy and the companies. On a daily basis we use metrials that can be used differently.
Reuse the back side of a copied paper when it is no longer needed
 
·        When using a cartbox,find a way to reuse it for document storage or upcoming shipments.
·        Avoid using staples in envelopes and sheets (Facilitates the reuse of sheets).
·        Use both sides of a sheet and then discard
 
 
Recycle:
 
It is to submit the materials to the processes so they can be reused as raw material (recycled), drastically reducing the exploitation of new natural resources, and as a consequence less waste of them and reducing the amount of garbage.
 
 
Since recycling is the last option to generate less garbage, you should consider Reducing and Reusing to the maximum before sending them to Recycle. A lot of bottles, packaging and containers can be reused in different ways.

In the world, we have always produced waste, it is now that as a consumerist society we must take action in the matter and help with not creating too much garbage. In addition to having raised the levels of toxicity in soils, air and water causing a global crisis, this toxicity has increased to become a very serious problem. Accustomed to USE AND THROW AWAY we have not realized that those materials that we discard in an disproportioned way, we will need one day.

It is important to point out that the recycling processes produce a certain amount of pollution but reduce the need to extract raw materials from mines, forests or oil and less energy is used.

Plastic bags and their impact:
 
Annually more than 4 tons of plastic bags are disposed, unfortunately nobody wants to recycle them due to the high cost, ending up in the streets of cities, canyons, alleys, seas, rivers and lagoons or burned, just to mention the most common.
